Docs and community
Everything is open: read the documentation, follow the code, report a problem or lend a hand.
Documentation
Guides, one page per monitor type, alert rules and the API reference, in nine languages on Read the Docs.
Source code
MIT on GitHub: the code, the issues, the roadmap and the releases.
Contribute
Add a monitor type, fix a bug, improve a page: the contributing guide explains how to start.
Security
How to report a vulnerability privately, and what the project does to stay safe.
Translate
Translations are made by pull request, for the interface, the documentation and this site.
Releases
Each release is tagged on GitHub, with its changelog.

Support DumbMonit
DumbMonit is free and has no company behind it. If it saves you time, a donation pays for the test hardware and for the time it takes.
Bug reports, translations and device profiles help just as much.

Security checks, in the open
The project is graded in public by the OpenSSF. These links open the live results.
This site has no analytics, no cookies and no third-party requests.
Open source, all of it
MIT, dependencies included: CI fails on any dependency that is not under an OSI-approved licence. No feature is held back for a paid edition, because there is none. DumbMonit is 100% free and will stay free.
Tell us what breaks
A monitor that reads wrong, an alert that woke you for nothing, a page that confused you: each report makes the next release better. Requests for a new kind of monitor are welcome too.
